FBI meets behaviour science
Partly based on Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman (but I like reading their work being applied because I found the OG book kinda dry lol).
Love the cover art and great story
South Korea, queer, teen struggles, poetic, beautifully written, and overal a well received book. Cool stuffff.
Basically a whole lot of empathy and (serial) killers
Super interesting, pushing the empathic boundaries of the FBI in the late 70’s. Are serial killers just ‘crazy’ or…
Also, I love the cinematography!
WOW! Reading about data and actually enjoying it!
Super interesting to learn what large chunks of data reveal about how humans think and behave in the dating context. Bit outdated, but def. interesting!
This movie was something something.
Spotify ‘randomly’ played a song one day that made feel all kind of ways, as if I could see a movie. Then, years later I found out that it actually is a movie soundtrack (by Joe Hisaishi, 1997!!). Click the image to watch the it, it’s not too long only 1.45h. Also, Hana-bi means fireworks in Japenese. I didn’t know that, maybe you didn’t either.
What’s fair? Aligning mind and body.
Lorry Hill makes video analysis about plastic surgery in celebrities. And I LOVE those video’s as I am fascinated about the subtleties, stigma, impact on self image because of plastic surgery, in myself and others. Are we, regular folks, entitled to know it all?
